RoboCockpit noac
The future of surgical precision

intelligent surgery

RoboCockpit noac is a robotic cockpit that redefines precision, empowers surgeons with enhanced control and seamlessly integrates human expertise with advanced robotics. It is the door opener for data mining in the OR.

With the intelligent surgical robot RoboCockpit noac, surgeons can achieve higher precision in all operations. And that in 95% of surgical settings. This is technological progress in surgical robotics.

75% of all surgeons have work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Long hours of standing in awkward positions lead to chronic pain and injuries.

40% of all surgeons take painkillers to cope. Surgeons resort to medication to manage pain and fatigue during extended procedures.

Studies proof: Ergonomic challenges compromise surgeon precision and performance during critical operations.

There is an urgent need for robotic assisted surgery, but existing OR-robots have limitations:

Limited application

Existing surgical robots can only perform 5% of all surgical procedures

Not suitable for open surgery

70% of surgical procedures are open surgeries, which current robots cannot assist with.

High costs

These robots have very high acquisition costs

and recurring expenses for maintenance and consumables.

Existing surgical robots are limited in their application, cannot handle the vast majority of surgical cases, while being prohibitively expensive for widespread adoption.

The motor-controlled belt retraction enables the user to always adjust his
torso inclination perfectly at all times.

The "Jacket" support system developed in cooperation with Deuter allows surgeons to float. The necessary postures can be assumed at any time, safely and in a controlled manner, without any strain.

The height-adjustable side support offers special comfort, especially during minimally invasive procedures. All adjustment options can be carried out intuitively with the 6-D mouse.

All adjustment and traversing functions can be controlled with the practical "Assistant Control" operating unit located on the rear panel. Standby, basic and parking functions are also very easy to operate there.

The sensor technology located in the side support ensures that noac optimally follows the surgeons' movements and holds each right and left very comfortably.

The automatic control follows the body movement and is hands-free – at no time do the sterile instruments have to be removed from the hand. The main functions are activated and deactivated with the heel.

Handsfree operation

With the Mecanum wheels, surgeons can move around the operating table with millimeter precision, even on their own axis: the secret of why noac works even in the smallest of spaces! The surgeon controls the table himself using a joystick or can be moved by Assistant Control.

The pedals for controlling other surgical devices can simply be placed on the pedal rests. These can be plugged in at the front or side.

RoboCockpit noac does not compete with conventional surgical robots - but covers the 95% of applications that existing surgical robots cannot cover.

Compared to conventional surgical robotics, noac offers several significant advantages:

By holding the surgeon's arms and hands, tremor is reduced.

This enables high-precision movements to be performed directly on the surgical instrument or endoscope, just like on a robotic console, but with tactile and haptic feedback for the surgeon. This leads to a more efficient performance of the procedure.

noac offers direct interaction. The surgeons have contact with the patient at all times without having to switch back and forth between the patient and the robotic console. This improves time efficiency and optimizes patient treatment.

When using the RoboCockpit noac, you continue to use the clinic's existing instruments, which leads to improved cost efficiency.  This not only enables a more cost-effective implementation, but also seamless integration into existing surgical processes and infrastructures, making the introduction of RoboCockpit noac an attractive option for clinics.

RoboCockpit noac is the only OR robot that can be used in 95% of OR settings. It increases the efficiency and precision of surgical procedures, reduces operating costs and enables better utilization of existing resources.
